Energy
At Energetics Research and Engineering we believe that having clean, reliable, and environmentally concious energy supplies is one of the most critical and important areas for both business development and technological innovation. This is why we work with companies, governments, and research organizations to:
(1) implement the many existing energy and efficiency technologies into current business practices,
(2) create and verify new technological solutions to energy problems on both the large and small scales, and
(3) model and project the effects of expanding and conserving the energy and resources of our cities, states, country ... and our planet.
Also, because energy efficiency is the most direct way to decrease energy costs, the savings in operating costs go straight to the bottom line of your company. We work with companies to find ways to decrease their near and long term energy usage such that they can focus on what they do best, while we focus on what we do best.
Our focus is to work with companies, organizations, and universities involved in:
- Systems design for energy efficiency and reduced use of natural resources
- Energy systems planning and forecast optimization
- 'Embodied energy' modeling to understand the entire supply chain of energy used in processes, products, and buildings
- Distributed energy
- Residential and Community Energy storage
Energetics Research and Engineering is working with universities to prepare proper energy usage and generation plans that maintain economic prosperity in the short and medium term while also preserving natural resources and moving toward sustainability in the long term. Our children don't deserve a world where their lifestyle has been compromised because of our lack of forsight and action.
At Energetics Research and Engineering we understand the inherent interactions and tradeoffs between generating the electricity and fuels that our society requires and maintaining a safe pollution-free environment that guarantees terrestrial and aquatic resources for clean water, clean air, farmland, and recreation.
A large part of our efforts are put to ensuring that different audiences are educated (see Education) in how energy generation affects the Earth. These important audiences are:
- Government officials and policymakers
- Consumers and the general public
- Homebuilders
