Who we Are

Energetics Research and Engineering was founded by Dr. Carey King of Austin, Texas. Dr. King holds both B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

While at The University of Texas and subsequent employed positions, Dr. King performed work in modeling, design, manufacturing, and testing of various mechanical and MEMS systems. He specializes in modeling, simulation, and optimization of energetic systems that include multiple energy domains (mechanical, electrical, fluidic, magnetic, etc.).
